TERMS OF USE
Effective Date: 16 August 2026
Last Updated: 16 August 2026
Welcome to Parelora.
These Terms of Use (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of parelora.ae (the “Website”) and any products, digital materials, memberships, community features, content, experiences and services made available by Parelora through or in connection with the Website.
The Website is owned and operated by:
Parelora F.Z.E.
Ajman Free Zone
United Arab Emirates
Email: hello@parelora.ae
References in these Terms to “Parelora”, “we”, “us” and “our” mean Parelora F.Z.E.
References to “you” and “your” mean the individual accessing the Website, purchasing a Product, becoming a Member, attending an Experience or otherwise interacting with our Services.
Please read these Terms carefully before using the Website or purchasing from Parelora.
By accessing the Website, creating an account, purchasing a Product, joining a membership, registering for an Experience, or otherwise using our Services, you agree to be bound by these Terms and any additional terms presented to you in connection with a particular Product, membership or Experience.
If you do not agree to these Terms, you should not use the Website or purchase our Products or Services.
Nothing in these Terms excludes, restricts or modifies any right or remedy that cannot lawfully be excluded, restricted or modified under applicable law.

Our offerings may include, without limitation:

editorial content;
downloadable files;
digital resources;
memberships;
member-only content;
community spaces;
workshops;
conversations;
gatherings;
events;
retreats;
experiences;
educational or reflective programmes; and
other products or services introduced by Parelora from time to time.
Not every offering described in these Terms will necessarily be available at all times.
2. Eligibility
You must have the legal capacity to enter into a binding agreement in your jurisdiction to make purchases or enter into paid agreements with Parelora.
Our commercial Products and Services are intended primarily for adults.
By purchasing from Parelora, you represent that you have the legal capacity to enter into the transaction or are otherwise legally authorised to do so.
You may not use our Website or Services where doing so would violate applicable law.
3. Changes to These Terms
We may amend these Terms periodically to reflect changes to:
our Products or Services;
our business;
our technology;
our commercial practices;
applicable law;
regulatory requirements; or
security requirements.
The date at the top of these Terms indicates when they were last updated.
Changes will apply from the effective date stated in the updated Terms.
Where a material change affects an existing paid membership or another continuing contractual relationship, we may provide additional notice where required by applicable law.
Changes will not retroactively remove rights that have already accrued to you under applicable law.
4. Our Products
Parelora may sell or provide digital Products including journals, Companions, guides, worksheets, exercises, prompts, frameworks, editorial materials and other downloadable or accessible resources.
Product descriptions are provided to help you understand the nature of each Product before purchasing.
We aim to describe Products accurately. However, colours, images, layouts, proportions and visual representations displayed on screens may vary according to device and display settings.
We may improve, update or modify Products from time to time, provided that doing so does not unlawfully deprive an existing purchaser of what they purchased.
Unless expressly stated otherwise, purchasing a Parelora digital Product does not transfer ownership of the underlying intellectual property to you.
You are purchasing a limited right to use the Product in accordance with these Terms.
5. Digital Product Licence
When you lawfully purchase a Parelora digital Product, Parelora grants you a limited, personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable and non-sublicensable licence to access and use that Product for your own personal, non-commercial use.
This licence does not constitute a sale, assignment or transfer of Parelora's intellectual property rights.
Unless expressly authorised by Parelora in writing, you may not:
reproduce a Product for distribution;
distribute copies to another person;
upload a Product to a shared drive, group, membership platform, website or public database;
email or message copies to friends, colleagues, clients or community members;
sell or resell a Product;
sublicense a Product;
rent or commercially lend a Product;
publish a Product;
publicly display substantial portions of a Product;
reproduce substantial portions online;
remove copyright, branding or proprietary notices;
modify a Product for redistribution;
create an unauthorised derivative commercial product from it;
translate and distribute it;
incorporate substantial portions into another paid product;
use it as course material for paying clients;
use it as the basis of a coaching, consulting, therapy, training or commercial programme;
make it available through a membership, community, school or organisation;
use it to create competing journals, workbooks, programmes, templates or resources;
claim any part of the Product as your own intellectual property; or
facilitate any other person's unauthorised exploitation of the Product.
One purchase is for one individual user, unless the applicable Product page expressly states otherwise.
If an organisation, facilitator, coach, consultant, educator or other professional wishes to use Parelora materials with multiple people, written commercial licensing permission must first be obtained from Parelora.
6. Intellectual Property
The Website and Parelora materials contain intellectual property belonging to Parelora and/or its licensors.
This may include:
the Parelora name;
logos;
brand marks;
visual identity;
journal designs;
journal covers;
Companions;
text;
written exercises;
reflection prompts;
frameworks;
methods;
editorial concepts and expression;
photographs;
graphics;
illustrations;
artwork;
videos;
audio;
website design;
downloadable materials;
community materials;
event materials;
product packaging;
original compilations and arrangements; and
other creative materials.
Such materials may be protected by copyright, trademark and other intellectual-property laws.
UAE copyright legislation protects qualifying original works and gives rights holders legal rights concerning uses such as reproduction and distribution.
Except for the limited licence expressly granted under these Terms, no right, title or interest in Parelora intellectual property is transferred to you.
All rights not expressly granted are reserved.
7. Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning
Except where mandatory law provides otherwise or Parelora has expressly authorised it in writing, Parelora content and Products may not be systematically extracted, reproduced, uploaded, supplied or made available for the purpose of:
training an artificial-intelligence model;
fine-tuning an artificial-intelligence model;
creating a commercial dataset;
creating an embedding or retrieval corpus intended to reproduce or commercially exploit Parelora's protected content;
developing a competing generative product;
generating substantially similar commercial journals or materials; or
enabling another person or organisation to do any of the above.
This provision does not prohibit ordinary lawful personal use of generally available AI tools in a manner that does not involve unauthorised reproduction, distribution, publication, commercial exploitation or systematic ingestion of Parelora's protected materials.
8. Sharing Parelora Content on Social Media
We understand that members and customers may wish to share their experience with Parelora.
You may share limited excerpts or photographs of Parelora Products for genuine personal commentary, review or discussion where permitted by applicable law, provided that the sharing does not disclose a substantial portion of the Product or make the Product effectively available without purchase.
You may not publish:
complete pages in sufficient quantity to substitute for purchasing the Product;
complete exercises or substantial sequences of prompts;
downloadable files;
screenshots of substantially all of a Product;
member-only materials;
access credentials; or
material whose publication would enable others to recreate or use the Product without authorisation.
Where reasonably appropriate, attribution to Parelora is appreciated.
9. Orders
Submitting an order constitutes an offer to purchase the selected Product or Service subject to these Terms and any specific terms displayed at checkout.
An order is not necessarily accepted merely because you submit payment information.
We may decline or cancel an order where reasonably necessary, including where:
payment cannot be authorised;
the Product is unavailable;
there is an obvious pricing or listing error;
fraud or unauthorised payment is reasonably suspected;
the transaction violates applicable law;
you are in material breach of these Terms; or
technical circumstances prevent fulfilment.
If we cancel an order after receiving payment and no Product or Service has been supplied, we will provide an appropriate refund unless the payment is lawfully retained for another reason.
10. Pricing
Prices will be displayed on the Website or at checkout.
The currency applicable to the transaction will be shown before purchase.
Prices may change from time to time.
A later price change does not ordinarily affect an already completed purchase.
Any applicable taxes, charges or fees will be handled in accordance with applicable law and, where appropriate, displayed during the purchasing process.
You are responsible for any charges imposed independently by your bank, card issuer or payment provider, such as currency-conversion or international-transaction fees.
11. Payment
Payments may be processed through third-party payment providers such as Stripe or another provider identified at checkout.
By providing payment information, you represent that you are authorised to use the payment method submitted.
You authorise the applicable payment processor to charge the amount displayed at checkout.
We are not responsible for independent charges imposed by your bank or payment provider.
Payment processing may also be governed by the payment provider's own terms and privacy notice.
12. Digital Delivery
Digital Products may be supplied by:
immediate download;
download link;
email;
customer account;
member area; or
another digital delivery mechanism.
You are responsible for providing a valid email address and ensuring that your device and software are capable of opening the file format described.
If you experience a genuine technical problem accessing a purchased Product, contact:
hello@parelora.ae
We will take reasonable steps to help restore access or provide the Product where the transaction has been successfully completed.
13. Refunds for Digital Products
Because digital Products can ordinarily be accessed, downloaded or consumed immediately, change-of-mind refunds are generally not offered once a digital Product has been delivered, downloaded, accessed or otherwise made available for use, to the extent permitted by applicable law.
We do not ordinarily provide refunds merely because:
you changed your mind;
you did not use the Product;
you no longer want the Product;
you purchased the wrong Product through your own error;
you expected content materially different from the accurate Product description;
you lack compatible software despite applicable technical requirements having been reasonably disclosed; or
your personal circumstances changed after purchase.
However, this policy does not exclude any remedy that Parelora is legally required to provide.
Where a Product is defective, materially inconsistent with its description, not supplied as agreed, or otherwise gives rise to a mandatory remedy under applicable law, Parelora will comply with those legal obligations.
UAE modern-technology trade law expressly addresses circumstances in which consumers may return or request replacement of goods or services purchased through modern technology, including specified circumstances involving defect, incompleteness, inconsistency with advertised or contractual specifications, or delay affecting usability.
Nothing in these Terms is intended to waive a mandatory consumer right.
14. Duplicate Purchases and Technical Errors
If you are accidentally charged more than once for the same Product in the same transaction context, contact us promptly.
Where we verify a genuine duplicate charge or payment-processing error, we will take appropriate corrective action.
15. Chargebacks and Payment Disputes
If you believe a charge is incorrect, please contact us at hello@parelora.ae so that we have an opportunity to investigate.
Nothing in these Terms prevents you from exercising legitimate rights available through your bank, card issuer or applicable law.
However, knowingly initiating a false, fraudulent or materially misleading payment dispute may constitute a breach of these Terms and may result in suspension of access, termination of membership or other lawful action.
We reserve the right to provide transaction records, download records, communications, acceptance records and other relevant evidence to payment processors or financial institutions when responding to a payment dispute.
16. Accounts
Certain Parelora Services may require an account.
You are responsible for:
providing accurate information;
maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials;
taking reasonable measures to protect your account;
notifying us if you reasonably believe your account has been compromised; and
activity occurring through your account where attributable to your acts or omissions.
You may not sell, transfer, share or commercially provide access to your account.
We may take reasonable steps to protect an account where unauthorised use is suspected.
17. Memberships
Parelora may offer paid or complimentary memberships, including different membership levels or circles.
The benefits, price, billing structure, duration and included services applicable to a membership will be described on the relevant membership or checkout page.
Membership benefits may differ between tiers.
Unless expressly stated otherwise, membership does not automatically include every Parelora event, Product, retreat, workshop or paid Experience.
Certain Experiences may require separate booking and payment.
18. Membership Billing and Renewal
If a membership renews automatically, the renewal terms, price and billing frequency will be disclosed before purchase as required by applicable law.
By purchasing an automatically renewing membership, you authorise recurring charges in accordance with the terms presented at checkout until the membership is cancelled in accordance with the applicable cancellation procedure.
Where legally required, we will provide appropriate information concerning renewal, cancellation and changes to recurring pricing.
Cancellation ordinarily prevents future renewal; it does not necessarily create a right to a retrospective refund for a membership period already supplied, except where required by law or expressly stated otherwise.
19. Membership Changes
Parelora may reasonably evolve membership programming, formats, schedules, community features and benefits over time.
We will not intentionally use this right to deprive a Member of the substantial benefit of a paid membership without appropriate remedy where one is legally required.
Material pricing changes affecting future renewal periods will be communicated as appropriate before they take effect.
20. Community Standards
Parelora is intended to be a considered environment in which women can participate without harassment, intimidation or exploitation.
When participating in Parelora community spaces or Experiences, you agree not to:
harass another person;
threaten or intimidate another person;
engage in discriminatory abuse;
deliberately humiliate another participant;
stalk another participant;
solicit participants aggressively;
send spam;
use community access primarily to build an unauthorised sales list;
scrape member information;
collect contact details without permission;
promote unlawful schemes;
impersonate another person;
deliberately distribute false or harmful information;
share another participant's confidential disclosures without permission;
record private discussions without appropriate consent;
distribute member-only materials;
compromise the safety of participants; or
otherwise materially disrupt the community.
Parelora may establish additional community guidelines from time to time.
21. Confidentiality Within the Community
Parelora may encourage thoughtful and candid conversation.
Members should therefore treat personal information and stories shared by other participants with discretion.
Unless the person concerned has consented or disclosure is otherwise lawful and appropriate, you should not publicly identify another participant in connection with a private or sensitive disclosure made within a Parelora community setting.
However, Parelora cannot guarantee confidentiality between independent participants.
You should not disclose information in a group environment that you cannot accept another participant potentially retaining or repeating.
22. Removal From the Community
We may suspend or terminate a person's access to a Parelora community or membership where we reasonably determine that the person:
materially breached these Terms;
seriously or repeatedly violated community standards;
endangered another participant;
engaged in fraud;
materially infringed Parelora's intellectual property;
misused membership access;
unlawfully harassed another participant; or
engaged in conduct that makes continued participation reasonably inappropriate or unsafe.
Where appropriate and reasonably practicable, we may investigate before taking action.
Any refund entitlement following termination will depend on the circumstances, the applicable membership terms and mandatory law.
23. Events and Experiences
Parelora may organise in-person or virtual events, gatherings, workshops, dinners, retreats, conversations or other Experiences.
Specific Experiences may have additional terms concerning:
eligibility;
pricing;
cancellation;
transfers;
venue rules;
photography;
travel;
accommodation;
dress;
health and safety;
guest attendance;
conduct; and
third-party providers.
Those specific terms will supplement these Terms.
If specific Experience terms conflict with these general Terms in relation to that Experience, the more specific terms will ordinarily govern to the extent permitted by law.
24. Event Changes and Cancellation
Events and Experiences may occasionally be affected by circumstances outside our reasonable control, including venue issues, weather, governmental action, transportation disruption, illness, safety concerns or force majeure.
Where an Experience must be materially changed, postponed or cancelled, Parelora will handle the situation reasonably and in accordance with the terms applicable to that Experience and mandatory law.
We do not guarantee reimbursement of independent travel, accommodation, visa, wardrobe or other expenses unless expressly agreed in writing or required by law.
25. Photography and Recording at Events
Parelora may wish to photograph or record certain Experiences.
Where photography or recording is planned, we may provide notice and, where legally required or appropriate, obtain consent.
Specific event notices may explain how photography or recordings will be used.
We will not rely on this general Terms clause alone where separate consent is legally required for a particular use.
Participants may not make intrusive recordings of private conversations or other participants in violation of applicable law or event rules.
26. User Submissions
If you send us feedback, testimonials, comments, suggestions, photographs, stories or other material (“User Content”), you retain whatever ownership rights you legally hold in that User Content.
Merely sending us private correspondence does not automatically give Parelora unlimited commercial rights to publish it.
Where Parelora wishes to use identifiable User Content publicly for marketing or promotional purposes, we may seek appropriate permission where required.
If you expressly submit content for publication or agree to its promotional use, you grant Parelora the rights specified at the time of submission or consent.
You represent that content you intentionally submit for publication does not knowingly infringe another person's rights.
27. Testimonials
Testimonials represent the experiences or opinions of the individuals who provide them.
Individual experiences vary.
A testimonial should not be interpreted as a guarantee that you will achieve the same or similar result.
Parelora may edit testimonials for reasonable formatting, spelling, length or clarity provided that we do not intentionally misrepresent the substance of the person's statement.
Where consent is required to publish identifying information, we will seek it as appropriate.
28. Educational and Reflective Purpose
Parelora's Products and Services are designed for editorial, educational, reflective and personal-development purposes.
They are not a substitute for professional advice tailored to your individual circumstances.
Parelora does not, merely by providing a journal, Product, article, community discussion or Experience, create a professional adviser-client relationship with you.
29. No Medical or Mental-Health Advice
Parelora does not provide medical, psychiatric, psychological or therapeutic treatment through its general Products or editorial materials.
References to emotions, identity, relationships, behaviour, reflection, self-abandonment, boundaries, personal development or wellbeing are not diagnoses and should not be interpreted as personalised medical or mental-health advice.
You remain responsible for deciding whether professional healthcare or mental-health support is appropriate for you.
30. No Legal, Financial or Professional Advice
Unless expressly stated otherwise in relation to a properly qualified professional providing a specific service, Parelora content does not constitute:
legal advice;
financial advice;
investment advice;
tax advice;
medical advice;
psychological treatment; or
other regulated professional advice.
You should consult an appropriately qualified professional when your circumstances require personalised professional advice.
31. No Guaranteed Outcome
Personal growth is individual.
Parelora does not promise or guarantee that purchasing a Product, completing a journal, joining the community or attending an Experience will produce a particular emotional, personal, professional, financial, relational or lifestyle result.
Your results depend on many factors beyond Parelora's control.
32. Website Availability
We aim to maintain reliable access to the Website but do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free availability.
The Website may occasionally be unavailable because of:
maintenance;
upgrades;
technical failure;
hosting disruption;
cybersecurity issues;
third-party services; or
circumstances outside our reasonable control.
We may modify or discontinue non-contracted Website features from time to time.
Nothing in this section permits us to avoid obligations relating to Products or Services that have already been contractually purchased.
33. Third-Party Services
Parelora may use or link to third-party services including payment processors, website platforms, social networks, event providers, booking services or other technology providers.
Third-party services operate under their own terms and policies.
We are not responsible for the independent acts, content or policies of third parties merely because the Website links to or integrates with them.
This does not exclude responsibility that applicable law places on Parelora and does not affect our obligations concerning Services we have contractually agreed to provide.
34. External Links
The Website may contain links to external websites.
A link does not necessarily constitute endorsement.
We are not responsible for external website content or availability unless responsibility arises under applicable law or an express agreement.
You access independent third-party websites at your own discretion.
35. Prohibited Website Use
You may not use the Website to:
violate applicable law;
commit fraud;
impersonate another person;
interfere with Website security;
introduce malware or malicious code;
obtain unauthorised access to systems or accounts;
scrape or systematically harvest protected content or personal data without authorisation;
overwhelm or disrupt Website infrastructure;
circumvent technical access controls;
misuse checkout systems;
test stolen payment credentials;
infringe intellectual-property rights;
engage in abusive or threatening conduct; or
assist another person in doing any of the above.
36. Enforcement of Intellectual Property Rights
Parelora reserves the right to investigate suspected infringement of its intellectual property.
Where reasonably appropriate and lawful, we may:
request removal of infringing content;
issue cease-and-desist communications;
submit platform infringement notices;
suspend access;
terminate accounts;
preserve relevant evidence;
seek injunctive relief;
seek compensation or damages available under applicable law; and
pursue other lawful remedies.
Failure to enforce a right immediately does not necessarily waive that right.
37. Disclaimer of Warranties
To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, and except for warranties or guarantees that cannot lawfully be excluded, the Website and general informational content are provided on an “as available” basis.
We do not guarantee that:
the Website will always be uninterrupted;
every error will immediately be corrected;
every Product will suit every person's preferences;
personal-development outcomes will occur; or
third-party services will always remain available.
This clause does not exclude warranties, guarantees, remedies or obligations that apply mandatorily under consumer or other applicable law.
38. Limitation of Liability
Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability where such exclusion or limitation is prohibited by applicable law.
Subject to that qualification, to the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, Parelora will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special or consequential losses arising solely from circumstances for which such liability may lawfully be limited.
Where applicable law permits contractual limitation of liability and Parelora is liable in connection with a purchased Product or Service, any limitation will operate only to the extent lawful and reasonable in the circumstances.
Nothing in these Terms is intended to exclude liability for fraud, wilful misconduct or any other liability that cannot legally be excluded.
Importantly, UAE consumer law provides consumers with rights to claim compensation for qualifying personal or material damage and states that agreements purporting to remove the relevant right are void. That is why this clause is intentionally written with mandatory-law carve-outs rather than pretending Parelora can disclaim everything.
39. Your Responsibility
You are responsible for:
using Products appropriately;
making your own personal decisions;
obtaining professional advice where appropriate;
maintaining account security;
ensuring information you provide is accurate;
complying with applicable law; and
respecting other participants' rights.
You are responsible for consequences resulting from your unlawful use, unauthorised redistribution or deliberate misuse of Parelora materials, subject to applicable law.
40. Indemnity
To the extent permitted by applicable law, you agree to indemnify Parelora against reasonable losses, liabilities, damages, costs and expenses arising directly from:
your unlawful use of the Website;
your material breach of these Terms;
your intentional infringement of Parelora's intellectual property rights;
your infringement of a third party's rights through content you intentionally submit for publication; or
fraudulent or malicious conduct by you.
This provision will not require you to indemnify Parelora for losses caused by Parelora's own unlawful conduct, negligence where liability cannot lawfully be shifted, or other matters for which indemnification would be prohibited.
41. Suspension and Termination
We may suspend or terminate access to Services where reasonably necessary because of:
material breach of these Terms;
fraud;
serious community misconduct;
intellectual-property infringement;
security threats;
unauthorised account sharing;
unlawful activity; or
non-payment of amounts legitimately due.
Termination does not automatically extinguish rights or obligations that arose before termination.
Provisions intended by their nature to survive termination—including intellectual-property provisions, confidentiality obligations, limitations, dispute provisions and accrued payment obligations—will continue to apply where appropriate.
42. Force Majeure
To the extent permitted by law, Parelora will not be responsible for delay or failure caused by circumstances beyond its reasonable control, which may include:
natural disasters;
severe weather;
war;
civil unrest;
governmental action;
epidemics or pandemics;
infrastructure failure;
widespread internet disruption;
venue closure;
transportation disruption;
labour disruption;
major cybersecurity incidents; or
failure of essential third-party infrastructure beyond our reasonable control.
This clause does not remove refund, performance or other rights that cannot lawfully be excluded.
43. Electronic Communications
You agree that communications relating to your use of Parelora may be provided electronically where permitted by law.
This may include:
order confirmations;
receipts;
contractual notices;
membership communications;
policy updates; and
other transaction-related communications.
UAE legislation recognises electronic transactions and includes contracts and agreements within its electronic-transactions framework.
You are responsible for maintaining an accurate email address where necessary for the Services you use.
44. Privacy
Our collection and handling of personal information is governed by our Privacy Policy.
The Privacy Policy should be read together with these Terms.
Our use of cookies and similar technologies may also be governed by a separate Cookie Policy and cookie-consent settings.
45. Severability
If a provision of these Terms is found by a competent court or authority to be invalid, unlawful or unenforceable, that provision will be interpreted, limited or severed to the minimum extent necessary, where legally permissible.
The remaining provisions will continue in effect to the extent permitted by law.
46. No Waiver
If Parelora does not immediately enforce a provision of these Terms, that does not necessarily constitute a waiver of the provision or the relevant right.
A waiver on one occasion does not automatically constitute a waiver on another occasion.
47. Assignment
You may not assign or transfer your contractual rights to another person where those rights relate to a personal licence, membership or account, except where permitted by Parelora or required by law.
Parelora may transfer its rights and obligations as part of a legitimate restructuring, merger, acquisition, sale of business or similar transaction, provided that doing so does not unlawfully reduce your rights.
48. Entire Agreement
These Terms, together with:
our Privacy Policy;
applicable Cookie Policy;
applicable Product terms;
membership terms presented at purchase;
Experience-specific terms; and
other terms expressly incorporated into a transaction,
constitute the applicable agreement between you and Parelora concerning the relevant Services.
Where specific written terms are presented for a particular Product, membership or Experience, those specific terms may supplement these Terms.
49. Governing Law
These Terms and any non-contractual obligations arising from or connected with them are governed by the applicable laws of the United Arab Emirates, subject to any mandatory laws or consumer protections that apply notwithstanding this choice.
50. Dispute Resolution and Jurisdiction
If a dispute arises, we encourage you to contact Parelora first at:
hello@parelora.ae
We will attempt in good faith to understand and resolve legitimate complaints.
If a dispute cannot be resolved informally, it will be subject to the jurisdiction of the competent courts in the United Arab Emirates as determined under applicable law, unless mandatory law requires otherwise.
Nothing in this section prevents either party from seeking urgent interim or protective relief from a competent court where legally available.
Nothing in these Terms restricts a consumer from exercising rights or using dispute-resolution mechanisms that cannot lawfully be waived.
51. Language
These Terms are presently provided in English.
If Parelora later provides a translation, we will specify the relationship between the versions where necessary.
Nothing in this provision overrides any mandatory language requirement imposed by applicable law.
